And seriously, life is too short not to enjoy it, don't you think? No doubt about it, I know how to have fun and I know how to enjoy the finer things that life has to offer ~ but I can also get by with very few materialistic comforts if need be. I grew up all over the US, being raised by a corporate exec, and then married one. I know how to act at a black-tie corporate function, however I can also laugh at myself, (and other's sarcasm and humor), landscape the yard, balance the checkbook and social calendar, and keep the cleanest, most warm and welcoming home you ever saw. I'm polished and educated yet find I am just as happy at a symphony fundraiser ~ martini in hand, perfect little black dress and heels ~ or tailgating, repping my team jersey and faded jeans, with an ice cold beer in my hand, hanging out with my family and friends. Really.. Is there anything better than SEC Football rivalries?
